About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Peace Meal Kitchen Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the central kitchen. Responsibilities include ordering supplies, managing the kitchen team, tracking weekly and monthly reporting, seeking volunteers, assisting with meal preparation/delivery and staying in compliance with Public Health requirements.

Requirements

• Other Licenses/Certifications: ​Food Safety Manager Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: ​Minimum of 3 years food service leadership experience or five years of food service experience.
• Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Education: ​High School diploma or GED
