About The Position

This position will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of the warehouse management systems (WMS) and the yard management systems (YMS) related technologies. This position will oversee the activities of Logistics Operations, including safety, training, order processing, driver check in, responding to customer emails, and customer scheduling. This role partners with operations, IT, vendors and customers to ensure warehouse systems function efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment; 5+ years preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management, time management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to problem-solve and cross-check documentation.
  • Strong personal computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WHS systems
  • Ability to work under pressure (in an extremely fast paced environment), meet deadlines (overtime work may be required) and make effective decisions
  • Skill in organization and prioritization, and attention to details

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises Logistics staff and daily activities while enforcing operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Coaches, develops, and supports team members through regular feedback, performance conversations, and on-the-job training to build capability and accountability.
  • Identifies skill gaps and works with Plant Leadership to ensure employees receive appropriate training, resources, and development opportunities.
  • Coordinates staffing requirements to cover attendance shortages.
  • Administer, configure, and support the Yard Management System (YMS) and related applications
  • Own the day-to-day customer relationship, serving as the primary point of contact for scheduling pickups.
  • Manage customer pick up schedule communication, priorities, and issue resolutions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor system performance and data accuracy; resolve errors and exceptions
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to address and resolve yard view issues promptly.
  • Support warehouse operations with YMS setup for new hires
  • Lead or support system testing for upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations
  • Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and user training materials
  • Train warehouse users on system functionality and best practices
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and third-party vendors to implement system improvements
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments and customers to support supply chain objectives.
  • Issues timely corrective actions as appropriate.
  • Compliant with all safety rules and regulations, GMP’s and all DrinkPAK’s policies and procedures.
  • Continuously monitor applicable KPIs.
