About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a Supervisor, Patient Accounting to work full time days with the billing and client services department in the consolidated lab. The Supervisor, Patient Accounting s upervises assigned staff; manages the day-to-day billing and collections (or reporting and audit) activities of assigned area; participates in strategic planning for the department; serves as a technical resource to team members, assisting with tasks as necessary; communicates effectively with supervisor, staff, patients, third party payors and others to resolve problems and/or concerns.

Requirements

High School education (required)
Patient Financial Services - 2 years (required)

Responsibilities

Supervises assigned staff
