Position Summary As a Patient Care Supervisor, you will support the Enteral Nutrition department in by supervising the activities of subordinate staff and provide direction and guidance in work assignments. To be successful in this role you must possess excellent detail orientation and time management skills; strong service orientation and customer service attitude; and effective verbal and written communication skills. Ensures individual and team benchmarks are achieved. Responsible for hiring, coaching, conducting performance appraisals and disciplining subordinate staff. Provides guidance and leadership for staff to ensure employees are achieving customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem solving, professional phone etiquette and efficient processes. Resolves patient/customer complaints by identifying problems and coordinating appropriate corrective action. Performs quality control checks on subordinate staff. Identifies errors and inconsistencies to established procedures and ensures appropriate corrective action is taken. Ensures ongoing communication with branch and billing center management, other branch departments and/or other branch offices. Troubleshoots problems. Acts as a resource to subordinate staff to resolve customer inquiries and issues. Completes and passes associated payer training. Complies with and adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures and "best practices." Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. This is a full-time, permanent, salaried benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Typical work hours for this role are Monday – Friday, between 11:30AM CST – 8:00 PM CST, with some after hours and weekend work required. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with one year in a lead or supervisory capacity
  • Call center experience
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required

Nice To Haves

  • Home Infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience
  • In depth knowledge of payor types, billing and collections systems.
