About The Position

The Product Quality & Quality Labs Supervisor will drive reliability into new products and material transfers, ensuring performance requirements are met and continuously maintained. The ideal candidate will also serve as a liaison between quality and cross-functional teams, ensuring all reliability requirements are understood, executed in a timely fashion, and reported out. Lastly, the ideal candidate will set goals and objectives for the team of technicians & recommend modifications in processes and systems as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree
• 5+ years’ relevant product testing experience
• 5+ years of experience performing root cause analysis & communicating potential resolutions.
• OR
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years’ relevant product testing experience
• 3+ years of experience performing root cause analysis & communicating potential resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Reliability and Alpha Test planning and design.
• Alpha Test infrastructure management.
• Coordinate First Article Inspection.
• Develop and maintain warehouse manufacturing work instructions.
• Develop and maintain quality audit requirements
• Support agency activities.
• Participate in FMEA reviews.
• Support material qualification testing.
• Ensure the data integrity of the Quality Clinic.
• Validates product reliability and performance and assigns duties to the quality lab technicians.
• Manages product reliability and performance, ensuring all products meet the requirements.
• Designs and coordinates infrastructure required to validate product reliability and performance.
• Assigns duties to a pool of quality lab technicians and ensures all tasks are completed.
• Apply engineering techniques to effectively design and develop and manage all reliability infrastructure, participating in and monitoring its completion until all products can be tested satisfactorily.
• Manage the lab technicians’ time and duties, ensuring all quality lab tasks are completed efficiently.
• Represent reliability during product and schedule reviews for new product development and transfers of material, including DFMEA.
• Understand and support agency activities after production release.
