About The Position

The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment, with a background in standards such as ISO9001, MIL-PRF-19500, and MIL-STD-750.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of inspection experience in manufacturing quality control, preferably within the electronics industry
• Knowledge of ISO9001, MIL-PRF-19500, and MIL-STD-750 standards is preferred
• Proficiency in using manufacturing ERP and quality tools and software, Microsoft Dynamics Axapta preferred
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3). Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the QC team to ensure all products meet the required quality standards through incoming, in-process and outgoing inspections
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes in compliance with ISO9001, MIL-PRF-19500, and MIL-STD-750
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standard procedures and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply chain, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Train and mentor QC staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Prepare quality reports for management
• Ensure all quality control documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained
• Ensure all quality control activities are documented accurately and in a timely manner utilizing tools including manufacturing software, Microsoft Dynamics Axapta
• Stay current with industry standards and advancements in quality control methodologies

• The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $46,000 - $128,000.
• Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
