About The Position
The Radiology Supervisor oversees MRI and CT services, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient operations around the clock. Assumes responsibility, accountability, provides leadership for daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, and team member supervision in assigned area of an operating center. Facilitates staff management, in a multi skilled, multi-functional environment and coordinates quality improvement activities, resolution of customer service issues, and management and monitoring of resource utilization. Sentara Obici Hospital, a 175-bed state-of-the-art facility, is located on Godwin Boulevard in Suffolk, VA. Our full-service hospital continues a legacy of providing residents of Western Tidewater with high-quality, patient-centered care. As a recognized accredited Primary Stroke Center, and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence, the hospital specializes in orthopedic and spine, heart and vascular, advanced imaging, gynecological and comprehensive breast services, behavioral health, maternity, weight loss surgery, and a heartburn treatment center.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
- Extensive successful management of hospital departments may be substituted in lieu of bachelor's degree, but in this case, a Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology would be required
- ARRT (Required)
- 3 years of radiology experience (Required)
- 3 years of management experience (Required)
