Supervises hauling operations to ensure materials, equipment, and resources are transported safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively to support field construction, maintenance, and emergency response needs. Oversees crew readiness and coordination for emergency and priority call‑outs.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Associate's degree, Apprenticeship, or 60 college credit hours from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
  • Experience with three years as a Supervisor.
  • Journeyman experience, upgraded to Working Foreman, or Foreman; Foreman, within Power C/M; Engineer or Supervisor within Corporate Engineering and Power Group.
  • Estimators.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes and directs the most effective crew arrangements to meet the various job assignments and at various field locations.
  • Responsible for the implementation of all safety rules and regulations of the project, and that all work is performed in a safe environment.
  • Manages the resources, both personnel, material and transportation, to meet the job needs, and that the work performed is cost effective and within budget.
  • Responsible for a strong harmonious work relationship between labor and management to meet job assignments.
  • Is responsible for the actions of subordinates reporting to this position to achieve the highest goals of excellence in serving our customers.
  • Assists in the selection and training of personnel to achieve the best possible results in productivity.
  • Responsible for the care and use of all equipment and materials assigned to accomplish job assignments.
  • Maintains inter-departmental communications and participates in department and other project meetings.
  • Enforces policies, procedures, reports and standards to both direct and report on the work activities.
  • Furnishes consulting expertise to others, including SRP management and supervisors and outside agencies, contractors, customers and others.
