Required to interface with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.

Requirements

• One (1) year supervisory experience with Hospital Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation, or proven leadership ability in a Security position. Two (2) years college may be substituted for experience.
• Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
• Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must either possess International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Supervisory Certification or successfully complete the IAHSS Supervisory Certification course within three months of employment.
• Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.
• Current/Valid Driver’s License (new GA residents must obtain valid GA Driver’s License within 90 days of hire)
