Requirements

  • Familiarity with travelers, certificates of conformance and traceability protocols (CSD has put the shipping requirements in their traveler for the ITAR parts)
  • Proficiency in the following: International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Product control under the U.S. Munitions List
  • Proper handling of products controlled under the ITAR
  • Shipping requirements for ITAR-controlled products, including shipping under an export license, use of license exemptions and tracking of shipments exported under licenses/license exemptions
  • Proficiency in the following: Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Product control under the Commerce Control List
  • Proper handling of products controlled under the EAR
  • Shipping requirements for EAR-controlled products, including shipping under an export license, use of license exceptions and tracking of shipments exported under licenses/license exemptions
  • Proficient in preparing required shipping documents, including Commercial Invoice, that are compliant with the Foreign Trade Regulations
  • Proficient in Customs & Border Protection ACE portal and filing of AES entries
  • Proficient in use of Incoterms
  • Knowledge of ITAR exemption import requirements
  • Experience retrieving and reviewing Customs Forms 7501
  • Experience with exports of temporary imports under bond and temporary imports under HTS 9801
  • Demonstrated excellent listening, verbal and written communication.
  • Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information in written, oral and diagram formats.
  • Must interact well with associates at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to lead others, either as directs reports or in team setting.
  • Must be a strong self-starter, able to work without Supervision.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
  • Demonstrate an attitude of support, foster participation in the environment of continuous improvement and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
  • Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing
  • High School diploma required.
  • Minimum three (3) years management experience
  • Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.
  • Chromalloy participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Any offer of employment will also be conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with company policy and applicable federal and state regulations.

  • Ensure staff receives adequate training for the operations assigned to them.
  • Complete Corrective Actions to improve area.
  • Communicate with employees on their performance and help them achieve their daily expectations.
  • Ensures company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Provide accurate and timely performance feedback to management.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.
  • Resolve performance/disciplinary issues with employees in coordination with Human Resources. Write documents for employee files using HCM system as needed.
  • Ensure information on forms and paperwork of incoming and/or outgoing shipments is correct.
  • Conduct periodic inventory audits.
  • Monitor pre-established inventory levels to determine ordering needs.
  • Assist in determining correct method and mode of shipment to customer or supplier requirements.
  • Performing other tasks in the facility as needed.
