About The Position
Assist the manager of sterile processing in the supervision of the Sterile Processing Department staff and operations. Must be available to work weekends as needed.
Requirements
- An individual who has an AA or AS Degree is preferred or equivalent experience and education in SPD / Surgical Technology.
- Must have three-years’ experience in SPD and / or Surgery, with at least one-year supervisory experience in SPD / Central Supply preferred.
- Computer competent in word and excel, experience with instrument tracking systems preferred.
- Current IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certification required.
- Familiar with operation of all sterilization, decontamination, and patient care equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a surgical Tech preferred.
