They monitor the volume and quality of output and adjust tasks, timing, equipment set-up, or inputs so that production specifications are met, and resources are used efficiently. They supervise staff to ensure that all production tasks are performed and that all machines and equipment operated in a safe manner. They train new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards. The Supervisor, Tank and Welding prepares production reports so that performance problems can be identified and resolved. They p rovide supervision to the heavy wall and light wall tank departments on first shift . Measures of success: % Production Schedule Attainment Inventory Accuracy Dollars and Units Ensure Safety Measurements and Policies are followed Consistently meets all project and task deadlines as set by direct manager
