About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the receiving penning and moving of cattle to the slaughter department in a humane manner; for quality and safety; any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
2 plus years in Kill Floor preferred
must have general knowledge of production operations and techniques
food safety
product yields and USDA regulations.
Basic computer skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills
bilingual helpful.
Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members.
Travel: 0 - 10
