Drive systemic supplier performance improvement plans and projects for reducing quality defects and improve supplier's capability. Drive SPC compliance and improvement projects to reduce out of control conditions. Conduct process and part audits at supplier sites - part to print verification, quality management system review, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Become substantively involved in New Product reviews to improve producibility and manufacturability in the product development phase. Participate in and drive technical sourcing decisions based on supplier capability and product attributes. Train and develop suppliers to comply with Applied's quality methodologies - 8D, responding to non-conformances, change management controls, failure analysis. Proliferate key learnings and BKMs into the supply base. Prepare and present executive summaries on supplier capabilities, customer and factory escalations. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Machining, Electro-mechanical assembly, or electrical components such as PCB, Box Builds, Cable & Harness. Experience with GD&T or IPC standards. Familiar with IPC Standards Well versed in quality management systems and methodologies.
