About The Position

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $130,000-$150,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering Degree from an ABET accredited school
  • Minimum of three years of leadership experience managing engineers and/or technicians, with strong technical expertise and demonstrated leadership capability
  • Proven success in project management, including managing budgets, schedules, resources, and multiple simultaneous initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, and work effectively across cross‑functional teams
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities with a track record of driving results
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, balance competing demands, and optimize team and operational performance
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma training or certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Supplier Performance Engineering team to ensure consistent delivery of quality engineering processes and supplier outcomes.
  • Drive performance improvements by implementing procedures, systems, and metrics that support quality, speed, and cost targets for external suppliers.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance in all engineering and supplier interactions.
  • Partner with global, cross‑functional teams—including operations, supply chain, quality, and engineering—to align supplier strategies and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage team capacity, define needed capabilities, and ensure the team structure supports the Supplier Performance Engineering strategic plan.
  • Provide coaching and development, set clear expectations, and support recruiting, onboarding, performance feedback, and succession planning.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, organizational reviews, and resource planning in support of long‑term business objectives.
