About The Position

You will be a Supplier Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Precision Fires team. What You Will Be Doing In this role, you will be collaborating with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Customers on Quality-related issues to ensure quality standards are in place. The SQE will engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventative action implementation. The SQE will also ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards are compliant with customer requirements. They will also develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity. Requirements

  • Ability to travel ~25-50% domestic travel
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • STEM Degree at Bachelor's Level or higher, or equivalent experience
  • Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
  • Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
  • Understanding engineering/mechanical drawing requirements.
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • STEM Degree at Bachelor's Level or higher
  • Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material (Material Review Boards)
  • Experience working with Government customers
  • A strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensions & Tolerancing)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills - both written and verbal.
