Starting in 2020, we developed the Re-Imagined Student Experience Program (RISE Program) which offers year-round internship experiences, in a variety of disciplines to enhance your education and provide hands-on work experience to help launch your career in the medical device field. We are looking for students interested in a Quality Engineering career to join our organization and collaborate with our team to bring cutting-edge medical devices to life. Come join our growing team! Job Duties and Responsibilities: This role consists of 10-12 weeks during the Summer, starting in May and ending in August. RISE Students will be working directly with their mentor on projects to aid in the development of life-saving medical device projects such as, Load supplier records into Grand Ave. Determine how to set expiration dates on records and automated notification reminders. Define a Supplier Selection and Qualification process to get on ASL Define Supplier Performance Monitoring process that includes risk assessment and quarterly performance scorecard template. Support Supplier audits virtually as needed.

Requirements

  • College Student pursuing a degree in General Business Management, Engineering or relative field
  • Class status of Sophomore or Junior preferred
  • Interested in pursuing a career in the medical device industry
  • Available 30-40 hours/week preferred
  • Available for 10–12-week Summer RISE Program Internship
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Load supplier records into Grand Ave.
  • Determine how to set expiration dates on records and automated notification reminders.
  • Define a Supplier Selection and Qualification process to get on ASL
  • Define Supplier Performance Monitoring process that includes risk assessment and quarterly performance scorecard template.
  • Support Supplier audits virtually as needed.
  • Contribute to project work as assigned
