This position works with suppliers to improve the quality and reliability of their product and to minimize interruptions. Request, track and review supplier corrective actions and perform documentation and process audits. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Process Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) and credits. Coordinate follow-up with Purchasing, overseeing proper inventory transactions and check parts and inventory to ensure accurate count, and investigate solutions for discrepancies. Investigate quality issues, request, review and track corrective actions. Create action plans to address quality issues with engineering, manufacturing and purchasing. Support production by providing repair solutions. Establish parameters for standardizing internal processes. Conduct quality audits on specific suppliers and provide feedback to engineering and purchasing. Train the appropriate staff and suppliers on the Company’s quality methods and standards. Work in a safe manner at all times.
