About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Work Movement Manager to join our Work Movement team in Everett, WA or Renton, WA. The Manager will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her supply chain knowledge. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes, and efficiencies. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain work movement functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This role requires a keen attention to detail. The individual selected will be responsible for carefully monitoring and measuring supplier performance while clearly communicating performance expectations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management, Supplier Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • 3+ years of experience in leadership role leading global teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations environment
  • Project Management Certification

Responsibilities

  • Manages Supply Base Management Specialist employees performing activities related to supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
  • Monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Provides oversight, guidance and approval of supply base plans to ensure integration with customer, program and commodity strategies.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
