About The Position

Supply Chain Administrator The Opportunity: As a contracts specialist, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your contract management knowledge to our Global Supply Chain team, where you’ll be a trusted advisor and a valuable collaborator who finds creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company. On our team, you’ll use your Subcontract Management and Direct Procurement expertise to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts for federal programs. In this role, you’ll touch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion. You’ll review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposal strategies, and advise leadership on risk mitigation strategies. As a trusted business partner, you’ll negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and original equipment manufacturers across a breadth of contract types. You’ll also use your sourcing skills to onboarding and awarding subcontracts and suppliers within a government approved procurement systems. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, supply chain, subcontracts, purchasing, logistics, or operations
  • 3+ years of experience in Federal procurement or subcontract management, including overseeing proposals, supplier selection and negotiations, and subcontract administration to support U.S. government programs
  • Experience working directly with suppliers and their sub-tiers with product delivery
  • Ability to function independently as a self-starter
  • Ability to collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to drive delivery of procurements
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing expert advice and counsel to program leadership on subcontract or direct procurement matters, including advising on contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflicts of interest, and risk management and mitigation
  • Experience ensuring objectives align with the market account managers’ overall business strategies
  • Ability to interface directly with internal departments to address any issues that may arise during the capture, proposal development, contract negotiations, sourcing, and execution phases
  • Ability to collaborate with program managers, capture teams, and senior leaders to develop accurate demand forecasts
  • Ability to identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
