About The Position

The Supply Chain Analysis team is just one part of H-E-B's Corporate Planning & Analysis division, which develops / maintains budgets and systems while providing current, reliable financial data, analysis, and technical info. The Supply Chain Analysis team focuses on Supply Chain optimization and supporting / delivering systems applications to support strategic initiatives. As a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll develop processes, tools, reports, and provide data analytics to support H-E-B's supply chain strategic initiatives, such as supply and demand forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization. We are looking for: - strong analytical and project management skills What is the work? Analytics: - Assists with analysis, documentation, and implementation of solutions to meet business needs - Works with other business areas / client groups to translate business needs into solutions / business requirements - Analyzes probable impact of recommendations and solutions on other business areas - Provides research, documentation, and coordination with the business / other job families in support of the application post-implementation - Conducts post-implementation analysis Project Management: - Assists project teams in delivery of applications, systems, processes, and/or services as defined by manager or project leader - Manages low complexity projects that may encompass technology, facility, process, materials, handling systems, or other business initiatives. - Ensures project is on schedule, high quality, meets department scorecard, and creates business value - Contributes to project efforts/status including developing project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and coordinating logistical team

Requirements

  • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strong verbal / written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects
  • Ability to work complex issues with senior management
  • Initiative; willingness to take risks
  • Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
  • Travel by car or plane with overnight stays
  • Sit for extended periods
  • Work extended hours

Nice To Haves

  • Supply Chain Systems: Project Management Professional Certification completed or in progress (preferred)
