What we’re looking for: The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for monitoring and improving supply planning processes & logistics operations to optimize service, cost, and inventory. Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supply constraints to determine optimum inventory levels. Knowledge of all three IC sites’ products, capacities, operating limitations, and master ability to plan production and manage inventory at all three sites. Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications. Support operations through purchasing of raw materials when necessary. Ensure all documentation under your responsibility updated and maintained according to ISO document control requirements. Coordinate and handle the escalation of critical sales demands with business leadership. Work with Customer Service, Site Traffic, Operations, and 3rd party carriers to align transportation availability with customer requirements, loading rack schedules, and product availability. Create PR’s for terminals, logistics costs and other necessary purchases of goods or services. Analyze terminal invoices and inventory reports for accuracy. Assist with month-end close responsibilities including inventory reconciliations and troubleshooting sales or production discrepancies. Provide support and back-up coverage to assist with marine planning at both LBC and Port Neches sites. This includes vetting vessels, preparing orders for the terminals, and communicating with the surveyors regarding quality issues or loading delays. Work with 3rd party freight payables service provider and internal account’s payables team as necessary to ensure efficient auditing, processing, and payment of logistics vendor invoices. Update and maintain various agreements and tables within our SharePoint and SAP Transportation Management platform to ensure freight accrual accuracy. Monitor open order reports and ensure that all orders are being accounted for in planning forecasts and goods issued in a timely fashion. Provide support and back-up coverage as needed to assist team of Logistics Specialists. This would include responding to delivery issues, checking carrier availability for urgent orders, resolution of damage complaints, tracking railcars, etc. Special projects, including spend analysis, quality data compilation, etc. Maintain action log of issues related to customer complaints, delivery issues, etc. Understanding of railcar fleet, maintenance schedule and process for billing railcars. Set high standards, lead by example, and ensure full compliance to Indorama policies and procedures.
