About The Position

The customers’ Catapult database is an integral component of each new ECRS installation and supply chain management. As such, the Supply Chain Database Specialist is essential to ensure successful customer implementation and supplier onboarding. This is accomplished through coordination with the customer, suppliers, and project manager in collecting, analyzing, and formatting the customer’s current data in a timely manner to meet specific delivery timelines and commitments.

Requirements

• 2 or 4-year degree in a related field preferred.
• Advanced skill set with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with data set management via API.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and use discretion to solve problems for ECRS, customers, and suppliers.
• Excellent email and telephone communication skills and the ability to listen, understand goals and objectives, and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize work tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet multiple timelines simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze, disseminate, manipulate, and distribute data.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience is preferred in an inventory management or buyer role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards and procedures.
• Identify database requirements by interviewing customers, analyzing customer/vendor-related data, manipulating data, and importing customer-approved data for the creation of the customer’s Catapult database.
• Evaluate new and existing data as provided to ECRS by suppliers.
• Maintain communication with customer during build process, answer questions and request data updates.
• Provide regular updates on the status of each database to the appropriate Project Manager to achieve time-to-market goals.
• Maintain communication with suppliers during Universal Product Database implementation process, answer questions, and request connection updates.
• Assist existing retail customers implementing Universal Product Database.
• Conduct research with ECRS customers, Installers/Trainers, suppliers, and others for feedback to improve the database construction, onboarding processes, and end results.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other ECRS departments to meet the demands of growth and market competition.
