Waste Services VLS Waste Services provides customized waste processing solutions for hazardous and non-hazardous industrial and commercial waste, including landfill diversion and sustainability programs, solidification of liquid waste, recycling, wastewater treatment, and waste sequestration. Railcar Services VLS Railcar Cleaning and Repair Services division provides specialty cleaning services for difficult-to-clean products, including chemicals, hardened materials, and pressurized gases, and comprehensive repair services for certified full-service repairs, tank car qualifications, and maintenance. Marine Services VLS Marine Services division offers state-of-the-art barge cleaning, repair, and gas-free facilities for various chemical solvents and downstream petroleum products. Job Summary -Supply Chain – Vendor Sustainability Intern Assists in collecting, organizing, and maintaining supplier sustainability data to support the company’s vendor sustainability initiatives. Supports outreach to internal teams and external vendors to request and track required documentation and information. Help compile data into reports and summaries for review by the Supply Chain and Sustainability teams. Learning and contribute to the development of foundational processes as the vendor sustainability program continues to grow.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in a related field Supply Chain.
- Junior or Senior status by fall of 2026.
- 3.0 GPA
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- You have basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; specific technical skills may vary by role
