About The Position

Performs assigned responsibilities as part of an internship program. Currently enrolled in an accredited 4 year undergraduate bachelors program. Holds junior level standing in a non-technical track. High School Graduate or related experience. Specific Duties and Responsibilities for Summer Internship: PowerPoint Presentations (projects / progress throughout the internship) Audit Bill of Materials for accuracy Data Entry (freight, inventory, packaging, etc) Present for Materials / Continuous Improvement teams during town hall meetings Perform cycle counts and reconciliation of any inventory variances Participate in launch and build out preparations Help with visual aids, packaging and storage improvements, and other continuous improvement projects as assigned Support quality rejection/disposition and any incoming discrepant inventories Work with all departments (production, quality, engineering, materials, safety, HR) to receive a well-rounded experience Report accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies, and inform supervisor of known HSE&E conditions which could adversely affect other team members, assets or to the public. Other Position Requirements: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and working towards a 4 year B.S. degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management or Finance. Available to work up to 40 hours per week. Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0. Previous internship or co-op experience in automotive related position is an added plus. Solid analytical skills and work effectively with customers, suppliers, and the development team. Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail, organization skills and follow up. Proficient in MS Office. Skills and Knowledge: Ability to working within high-performing teams in highly collaborative environments. Building relationships with key internal and external customers, based on trust and confidence. Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Translating business goals and metrics into business process outcomes and related business cases for specific projects. PRIMARY LOCATION Bridgewater Interiors IV
