The AWS Cloud Logistics team is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to join our Florence, KY location. In this role, you'll take ownership of transportation operations for one of the world's fastest-growing industries, driving continuous improvement and leading day-to-day operational execution with limited oversight. This is a hands-on operations role where no two days look the same — you'll regularly navigate ambiguous situations, make sound judgment calls, and find practical solutions without always having a defined playbook to follow. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You operate with autonomy, own your segment of the business end-to-end, and know when to escalate versus when to act. You're comfortable working through uncertainty, building structure where it doesn't exist, and keeping operations running smoothly even when the path forward isn't always clear. This role is a great fit if you: Take full ownership of a transportation mode or customer-focused subset within the region, including SOP creation and process documentation Thrive on leading and participating in cross-functional improvement projects Drive automation and process simplification initiatives independently Mentor peers and serve as a point of escalation and support for team members Communicate performance insights clearly through regular business reviews with Logistics Service Providers and senior leadership Are energized by ambiguity and can prioritize effectively when problems and solutions aren't yet well-defined
