A Day in the Life As a Supply Chain Program Manager supporting Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (M&A), you will play a pivotal leadership role in advancing Medtronic’s growth strategy. Your expertise will enable the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses and the smooth transition of divestitures, ensuring continuity in customer service and operational stability. By facilitating successful business transformations, you will directly contribute to unlocking incremental revenue and expanding Medtronic’s global impact. This position represents Global Operations & Supply Chain (GOSC) throughout acquisition due diligence, integration planning, and divestiture execution — with a strong focus on Offer-to-Cash (OTC) stabilization and end-to-end supply chain continuity. You will partner across global business units and corporate functions including Finance, Tax, Quality, Regulatory, Distribution, Transportation, Trade Operations, Trade Compliance, and Supply Chain IT to ensure seamless execution from Day 0 assessment through post-Day 1 stabilization. This is a highly visible role requiring strong influence, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to operate in ambiguity within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. A Day in the Life Represent Supply Chain throughout M&A integrations and divestitures, from initial due diligence and risk assessment through OTC stabilization and business hand-off.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant Program/Project Management experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field OR a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting M&A integration, divestiture, or large-scale network transformation in a global organization.
  • Cross-functional project experience with Finance, Tax, Quality, Regulatory, and Trade Compliance functions.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience calculating total landed supply chain costs.
  • Experience working with ERP and planning systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, etc.).
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively within a complex, global matrix organization.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain principles, including: Demand and supply planning Transportation and distribution Tradeoffs between service, cost, and inventory
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to work across global regions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Strong business acumen and intellectual curiosity.
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Supply Chain throughout M&A integrations and divestitures, from initial due diligence and risk assessment through OTC stabilization and business hand-off.
  • Lead Supply Chain workstreams in Offer-to-Cash (OTC) integration activities, including: Resource identification Solution design User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Day 1 readiness planning Hypercare execution Lessons learned and transition to steady state
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks associated with acquisitions and divestitures, including:
  • Partner cross-functionally to align financial, tax, trade, quality, and regulatory requirements within supply chain integration plans.
  • Evaluate total landed cost tradeoffs including transportation, distribution, and inventory positioning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in M&A supply chain integration processes and playbooks.
  • Influence senior leadership and global stakeholders to achieve alignment in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Lead without authority across cultures, time zones, and functional boundaries.
