About The Position

The Supply Chain-Project Manager is responsible for transforming how materials move through the plant, leading high-impact projects that modernize material flow, elevate packaging systems, streamline processes, and bring innovative automation and storage solutions to life. Working with engineering, operations, supply chain, and supplier partners, the process engineer delivers forward-thinking improvements that boost efficiency, reduce cost, and strengthen overall operational performance. What you can look forward to as Supply Chain Project Manager: Lead cross-functional, high-impact projects—spanning automation, warehouse optimization, material flow innovation, and advanced storage solutions—to modernize plant operations. Own projects end-to-end, including quoting, vendor selection, specification development, equipment commissioning, validation, and operational handoff while maintaining timing, budget, and performance targets. Design and optimize material handling systems, storage strategies, ergonomic layouts, and PFEPs (Plan for Every Part) to improve flow, reduce waste, and enhance cost efficiency. Develop technical requirements, RFQs, cost justifications, and compliance documentation (TS 16949, ISO 14000), ensuring robust engineering and quality standards. Partner with external suppliers to refine concepts, ensure technical alignment, negotiate equipment needs, and support acceptance testing and post-launch optimization. Champion continuous improvement through Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, packaging innovation, and enhancements to returnable dunnage and logistics processes. Introduce new equipment and automation—managing delivery, installation, validation, documentation, training, and production readiness. Collaborate closely with plant leadership, engineering, planning, and logistics teams, providing technical insights and driving long-term improvements in daily operations.
