About The Position

At Veo, we are on a mission to end car dependency by making clean transportation accessible to all and advancing the next generation of fully electric micromobility systems. Our fleets are constantly evolving and feature a range of vehicles - from pedal and electric bicycles, to standing and seated e-scooters, e-cargo bikes, and ADA accessible devices. We design and build our own vehicles, hardware, and software systems in house and run all our local operations to provide safe, efficient, and responsive mobility services that make communities more sustainable and livable. Job Summary: As the Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations Manager, you will own the performance, efficiency, and scalability of Veo’s central warehouse and logistics network. This role combines hands-on warehouse leadership with data-driven supply chain optimization, ensuring that parts, vehicles, and equipment flow efficiently across our markets. You will lead daily warehouse operations, oversee domestic and international logistics, and leverage data to improve inventory accuracy, fulfillment speed, and cost efficiency. This role is ideal for a startup-minded operator who enjoys building systems, solving complex logistics challenges, and scaling operations to support rapid company growth. This role is based in Bell, CA and reports to the Senior Strategic Planning Manager at our Santa Monica HQ. This role requires 5 days/week in Bell, California, and expect to spend one day a week in the Santa Monica HQ office.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, 3+ years of team leadership experience
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced or startup / high-growth environment
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, basic analytics)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, WMS systems, shipping/logistics operations, and warehouse safety standards
  • Experience managing domestic and international freight (including hazmat shipping preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve operational performance
  • Flexible based situations that call for different needs

Responsibilities

  • Warehouse Operations & Team Leadership Own end-to-end management of Veo’s central warehouse in Bell California, including receiving, inventory control, and fulfillment
  • Lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team including staffing, scheduling, performance management, and safety
  • Establish and enforce operational standards to ensure accuracy, safety, and throughput targets are consistently achieved
  • Manage standard warehouse purchase list, standard operating procedures and assets (e.g. warehouse signage)
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operational playbooks that support scalability
  • Supply Chain Analytics & Continuous Improvement Leverage data and analytics to identify operational bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve fulfillment performance
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and asset tracking across parts, vehicles, and equipment
  • Own cycle counts, monthly physical inventory audits, and discrepancy resolution
  • Develop scalable processes for asset tracking, returns, refurbishment, and redeployment
  • Partner cross-functionally with Market Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Product teams to forecast demand and support new market launches
  • Support new product introductions and fleet expansions by ensuring logistics readiness and parts availability
  • Logistics & 3PL Management Manage all domestic (FTL/LTL/parcel) and international shipments, including import/export coordination, customs, and hazmat compliance
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfillment of market requests
  • Build and manage relationships with 3PLs, freight carriers, and logistics partners
  • Optimize routing, carrier selection, and shipment consolidation to reduce cost and improve delivery timelines

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation Package that consists of a base salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Equity (Stock Options) + Full Range of Benefits.
  • Veo is a total compensation company, and pay is determined by geographic cost of labor and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training - so not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
  • Our total compensation package for this role, including bonus potential, ranges from $90,000 - $110,000
