About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Supply Coordinator for our Materials Management Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Supply Coordinator you will: Manage procurement of non-stock, special-order, and daily-use supplies; submit and track purchase orders Receive, log, and distribute incoming shipments across departments (e.g., nursing, rehab, therapy) Coordinate resolution of backorders, substitutes, and delivery issues with vendors and internal departments Round on assigned units to ensure adequate supply levels and proactively address equipment/supply needs Collaborate with nursing, Biomed, EVS and Leadership to support Supply and equipment operations Support capital request and minor equipment purchasing processes in Workday Conduct daily cycle counts and assist with year-end inventory Assist with stockroom replenishment, warehouse support, and set up of new bin locations as needed Provide backup coverage for Supervisors and other facilities/departments Coordinate and document warranty tracking, label creation, and in-service supply training as applicable Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years in healthcare supply chain, logistics, or purchasing required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred (Business, Healthcare, Supply Chain or related)
  • Experience with Hospital ERP systems (e.g. Workday) preferred

Responsibilities
