The Coordinator is responsible to manage and monitor the budgetary outcomes, goals and success of the Employment Services Department. These services include the development and management of individual and small group employment sites for adults at Orange Grove as well as oversight of job coaching, development and placement. They will actively work to educate the community and employers on the benefits of workplace diversity and community inclusion for people with disabilities and will be responsible for ensuring the department’s commitments to the people we support and our partner community employers are fulfilled. The Coordinator will ensure all necessary paper work is completed in accordance with all regulatory bodies. Paperwork includes daily notes, time sheets, billing calendars, task analyses, staffing plans, job placement reports, Board reports, vehicle inspection reports, unannounced supervisory visits, new hire packets, HR reporting and documentation. The Coordinator will attend trainings, staff meetings, and committee meetings as needed. The Coordinator will actively promote, monitor and implement Exploration and Discovery pre-employment services, drive and monitor attainment of annual Job Development and pre-employment service goals, promote use and integration of various Enabling Technology programs in employment services. The Coordinator will assure completion of Integrated Work Site Assessments, Vocational Adjustment Services, Job Readiness/Placement services, Job Coaching Services, and Supported Employment and Ticket to Work Services. The Coordinator will proactively develop partnerships to promote and maintain a pipeline of candidates for employment, working with Orange Grove’s MAPS program and work with schools and other programs for successful transitions of individuals from learning environments to applied skills in chosen field of employment. The Coordinator will have requisite experience in employment services for skillful development and tracking of strategic goals to advance the department success in career placement and revenue attainment. He/she will model and promote person-centered principles and practices of the organization and promote education and advancement in person-centered philosophies within Employment Services. Responsible to the Director of Employment Services. Has responsibility for supervising and assuring evaluations all Employment Services staff. Can utilize the division's Hiring Coordinator to assist in hiring departmental DSPs and Job Coaches or can hire all departmental staff in conjunction with the Human Resources department and Director of Employment.
