About The Position

Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a full time Supported Employment Coordinator to join our team of professionals in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community. The role involves exploring employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, engaging with individuals in person-centered job development, and assisting individuals with seeking job opportunities, preparing resumes/applications, and preparing for interviews. Additionally, the coordinator will provide information and education to employers to address concerns and detail the benefits of employing persons with disabilities. Responsibilities also include completing job analysis and task analysis for positions related to individuals, representing individuals in negotiations with employers, providing on-the-job training and supports, creating employment through self-employment and resource ownership, and assisting individuals in developing transportation alternatives and skills. The position may require early morning, daytime, evening, or weekend hours with flexibility necessary based on the employment obtained by individuals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of full-time work experience supporting adults in the human services field
  • Ability to obtain Associate of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) certification within three months of employment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to utilize internal software programs
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including motor vehicle record and criminal background checks

  • Assist individuals in developing or coordinating transportation alternatives and skills needed to secure and maintain transportation
  • Develop appropriate supports for individuals seeking employment to create and maintain positive, individualized employment relationships
