This area is within an hour’s drive of nine world-renowned ski resorts and within a day’s drive of five national parks. About this role: As a Surgical Oncology Advance Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will provide advanced perioperative and oncology-focused care across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings. Conduct patient assessment, treatment planning, perioperative and postoperative care management, care coordination, and education. This position includes up to $7,500.00 in relocation assistance is applicable You will practice at Intermountain Health, Intermountain Medical Center This role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, generally 7 a.m.–5 p.m., with adjustable start times as needed. 3 clinic days and 2 days in the OR Skilled in supporting and managing patients with advanced or rapidly evolving oncologic needs. Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and their families to support understanding and engagement in care. Requirements

  • APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
  • Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
  • Ability to perform advanced clinical tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Montana, Wyoming APRN or PA, license or the ability to obtain one
  • Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Must have experience with EPIC

Nice To Haves

  • Oncology or surgical experience (preferred)
  • Consideration will be given to new graduates who have previous experience in surgical care, oncology, dermatology, or palliative care.
