About The Position

Requirements

Completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
Experience in an operating room setting, particularly with endoscopic procedures.

Attention to detail is crucial, as the Endoscopy Surgical Technician must ensure that all instruments are accounted for and properly sterilized.

Nice To Haves

Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room for endoscopic procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
Assist surgeons and other medical staff during endoscopic procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining the sterile field.
Monitor patient vitals and assist in positioning patients for optimal access during procedures.
Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including instruments used and any complications that arise.
Participate in the cleaning and sterilization of instruments and equipment post-procedure to ensure compliance with health regulations.
