About The Position
Could you be our next Surgical Technician in the SurgiCenter at Lankenau Medical Center? Why work as a Surgical Technician - Per Diem? Make an Impact! Our Surgical Technicians play a key role in facilitating safe and successful surgeries for our patients! Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you would check and set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to assist the Surgeon at the table during invasive and surgical procedures. Other responsibilities may include: handling specimens, assisting with patient positioning and transfers, and participating in OR turnover. Develop and Grow your Career! Position: Surgical Technician Shift: Monday - Friday as needed, No call, No holiday, No weekends.
Requirements
- One year of Operating Room experience required.
- Successful completion of an accredited course in Operating Room Technology.
- Surgical Technician Certification CST Preferred if surgical technician training occurred on or before 12/29/2020 and candidate practiced clinically at any time during the two preceding years.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required within 60 days of date of hire, if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020.
