About The Position

The Surgical Technologist provides quality care for the patient undergoing surgical and invasive procedures. The Surgical Technologist is responsible for maintenance of the sterile field, handling supplies, instruments, and equipment during surgical procedures with the expectation of anticipating the needs of the surgeon. The Surgical Technologist works closely with other members of the surgical team to ensure patient safety, strengthen the financial performance of the department, and promote patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. The Surgical Technologist identifies safety concerns and institutes measures to provide a safe environment for the patient and staff. Requirements

  • Clinical education related to specialty.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of healthcare technology within specialty area.
