Location: Seattle Campus Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm | Mon- Fri Full-Time: 40 hours per week

Requirements

Associate Degree from an accredited higher education institution.
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (or equivalent military training).
3+ years of operating room experience within the last five years (required)
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential from an NCCA-accredited program.
Any other additional certifications or licenses required by the state. (required)
Strong communication (verbal/written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Nice To Haves

Three years of teaching in the field of surgical technology.
4 years of operating room experience if one did not graduate from a Surgical Technology program.

Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate daily lesson plans, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on demonstrations for individuals and groups.
Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student learning needs.
Monitor attendance, track student progress, and address academic concerns.
Maintain student grades, submit final grades, and update records.
Proactively work to reduce student withdrawals (target: 80% success rate).
Ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and clinical/externship opportunities.
Assist students with curriculum-related questions and career guidance.
Submit weekly attendance reports.
Notify leadership if a student’s average falls below 77%.
Stay current with industry standards and educational best practices.
