About The Position

Inline USA is seeking a skilled and experienced Survey Assistant to provide on-site leadership and oversight for our field crews in Idaho starting April 1, 2026. This role is responsible for day-to-day project execution, safety performance, quality assurance, scheduling, and strong client relations. This position follows a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off fly-in fly-out (FIFO) rotation. While on rotation, the Survey Crew Chief is expected to be on-site for the full duration of the shift and available to support operational requirements as scheduled.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience as a survey assistant or diploma in surveying/Geomatics, related post-secondary education, or equivalent field experience recognized under Idaho’s surveying licensure pathways.
  • Dependable, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and walk 10–12 hours per day in varying weather and terrain.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to take direction, listen carefully, learn quickly, and apply instruction from supervisors effectively.
