What you can expect to be doing: EDC-Inc, a division of Haley Ward is looking for a Survey CAD Technician who will complete various survey types including but not limited to: topographic, hydrographic, construction as-built, boundary surveys and sectional break-downs. Performs survey calculations Prepares maps and drawings Researches internal and state records Sketch legal descriptions for easement and submerge land Drafts information to be included in survey reports and related documentation Work is typically performed in an office setting.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, or other related discipline preferred, but not required.
  • Experience using Civil 3D required.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strategic/critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, Outlook, and advanced functions of Excel.
  • Must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
  • A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
