About The Position

This project is located in Lathrop, MO and requires mobilizing to the site for project duration. Onboarding will take place at world headquarters in Overland Park, KS. Survey experience on conventional power sites is strongly preferred. As a Level 2 Survey Technician, you will play a crucial role in Construction stakeout and in collecting and analyzing data to support engineering. You will work collaboratively with project team and utilize advanced tools to ensure precise measurements and efficient completion of tasks. Superintendent duties -completing safety task forms, supervision of staff. #LI-JH1

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience on similar projects in assistant superintendent or relevant experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
  • OSHA Training 40 hour
  • Superintendent Mandatory Requirements for reporting safety, cost, quality, and schedule information training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection:    - Assist in planning and executing field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
  • - Construction Stakeout using Robotics, GPS and Auto Level using CAD data,  Design Plans and prepared calculations.
  • -Accurately gather data on physical attributes, surface as-builts, and topographical features.
  • Data Analysis:    - Analyze collected data to produce detailed and accurate survey reports, maps, and figures.
  •    - Utilize CAD and GIS software for data interpretation and presentation.
  • Equipment Maintenance:    - Perform regular checks and maintenance on surveying instruments.
  •    - Ensure equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
  • Project Coordination:    - Collaborate with project team, engineers, to deliver project requirements
