Responsibilities
Millennium is hiring an Sustainment Engineer to join our Stafford, VA based team. ALL candidates MUST have an active secret clearance to qualify for consideration.
The selected candidate will:
Review, develop, and comment on technical documentation (requirements, CAD files, test plans/reports, technical review documents, engineering change documents);
Conduct technical analyses, and attend design and Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) reviews;Witness the integration of hardware onto the platforms and the execution of tests, and review test plans and reports;
Develop Informational Briefs and provide results of the AAV modification tasks to the Government in time to support the schedule associated with each task;
Provided engineering and technical analysis on the mechanical systems of a vehicle or other complex system;
Experience in providing engineering support to a defense acquisition program.

Requirements

• Candidate must have an active secret clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field and 4-6 years of experience.
• Experience in providing systems engineering support to a defense acquisition program.
• Experience in drafting, reviewed, and provided input to various technical documentation (DLA Form 339s, CAD files, ECP documents, test plans and reports, engineering processes and procedures, and technical review documents) to address sustainment issues and identify technical risks.
• Participated in technical analyses and design change reviews and witnessed integration of hardware onto the platform.
• A minimum of four (4) years of experience reviewing and developing engineering design changes, conducting technical analyses, and reporting findings.
• Proficiency in developing and commenting on various engineering documents (Specifications, ICDs, ECPs, Test Plans/Reports, Engineering Analyses, DLA Form 339s).
• Familiarity with the latest Engineering Standards for systems engineering, engineering technical data packages and engineering drawing standards.
• Participated in technical analyses and design change reviews and witnessed integration of hardware onto the platform.
• Participated in the planning and execution of test events, to include reviewing and providing comment to test plans and reports.
