About The Position

You will be the Senior Sustainment Engineer for the Domestic Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) – Sniper/LANTIRN team. Our team is responsible for delivering end to end logistics and sustainment support for the Sniper Targeting Pod family, ensuring the hardware stays mission ready from production through deployment worldwide. What You Will Be Doing As the Senior Sustainment Engineer you will own the full lifecycle sustainment effort for over 600 Sniper Targeting Pods stationed at domestic and overseas sites. You’ll work hand in hand with contract managers, program planners, and customers to keep the program on schedule, on budget, and fully compliant with all contractual obligations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Direct LSE experience
  • Demonstrated track record of sustained high performance with at least 3 years of Sustainment experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in communicating with Senior Levels of Management as well as Customers
  • Demonstrated Problem-Solving skills
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Sustainment/proposal/BOE development and man-power estimation
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills and the ability to effectively work within a diverse workforce.

Nice To Haves

  • Control Account Management (CAM) experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software packages with emphasis on Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple contracts with differing terms and conditions
  • Experience working with USG (Air Force & Navy), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and/or Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) customers and contracts.
  • Demonstrated performance executing sustainment type contract requirements to include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Test and Evaluation (T&E), Performance Based Logistics (PBL), Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs), and/or Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).

Responsibilities

  • Managing contract execution for budget, schedule, transportation, material replenishment, and hardware maintenance.
  • Driving technical issue resolution across multiple information management systems and providing timely solutions to stakeholder inquiries.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for proposal assistance, status reporting, and performance metrics that reflect mission readiness.
  • Coordinating with internal engineers, suppliers, and government customers to ensure seamless integration of new production lots and upgrades.
  • Monitoring and enforcing contractual compliance, documenting deviations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Generating and presenting weekly/monthly reports that capture key performance indicators, risk assessments, and support outcomes.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement.
