About The Position

This executive role is responsible for leading and advancing a comprehensive compliance program across a multi-state home-based care organization. The SVP, Compliance will strengthen a culture of quality, safety, and integrity, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while enabling operational teams to deliver effective care. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on field engagement, translating complex regulations into practical guidance and driving compliance across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will advise the executive team and Board, build trust with frontline staff, and influence organizational practices through both leadership and operational expertise. This position offers the opportunity to shape compliance strategy, enhance risk management, and promote sustainable growth in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or Juris Doctor strongly preferred.
  • Compliance certification such as CHC, CHPC, or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years of senior compliance leadership experience in multi-site healthcare or regulated community-based care.
  • Strong understanding of home care, home health, PACE, or similar care models and associated regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing audits and navigating multi-state regulatory complexity.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and operate effectively in matrixed, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong relationship-building, executive presence, and Board-level communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to engage in detailed operational compliance when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and advance the enterprise compliance strategy aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and enhance compliance capabilities, including team structure, processes, and field engagement.
  • Lead compliance monitoring, audit readiness, and risk mitigation initiatives across multiple states.
  • Translate complex home care and home health regulations into actionable guidance for operational teams.
  • Drive compliance visibility and engagement throughout field operations, including travel to key markets as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, HR, and legal teams to embed compliant decision-making.
  • Lead investigations and oversee corrective action plans, advising leadership on risk and regulatory trends.
