About The Position

The Global Digital Executive will accelerate the strategic Digital Transformation of TD SYNNEX to create significant differentiation and position the company as a digital leader with partners, vendors, and internally. This role is responsible for the definition and leading execution of the “digitalize our market engagement” strategic imperative and serves as a key strategic influencer to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), acting as a global digital leader while collaborating with regions on execution. The core focus is to become digitally embedded in our partners and vendors strategy, operations, and meet the requirements of the buyer of the future, with a strong emphasis on leveraging digital technologies like digital platforms, Data & AI. The role involves driving and cocreating best-in-class digital services that drive customer and vendor engagement, revenue growth, increase operational efficiency, and reduce complexity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years in digital transformation, IT strategy, or consulting.
  • Proven track record in driving leading large-scale digital initiatives in a matrixed and global organization, with direct experience in navigating IT ecosystems involving vendors, partners, and end-customers.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing data-driven & AI enabled digital platforms and marketplaces, digital services and content management systems, ideally in a B2B context similar to IT distribution.
  • Experience in working in global and matrixed environments, partnering with senior leadership (e.g., ELT-level) and leading by influence when necessary
  • Familiarity with financial metrics (OI, EPS) and their link to digital outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Translate trends into actionable strategies.
  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of AI, data, platforms, and automation.
  • Pragmatic Execution: Deliver cost-effective, impactful digital solutions.
  • Inclusive Leadership: Lead by influence across global and regional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead execution of the “Digitalize Market Engagement” strategic imperative.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the ELT, embedding digital priorities into corporate strategy.
  • Align digital strategy with corporate goals, including OI and EPS impact.
  • Scan global trends and B2B digital best practices, digital technology innovation, define global innovation themes.
  • Support regions in piloting local innovations aligned with global strategy.
  • Lead the Global Digital Council to define platform roadmap and standards (Data, AI, Content).
  • Lead the Global Digital Council to define and lead execution of the Market Engagement digital strategies
  • Ensures digital strategy is integrated into Commercial Excellence and omnichannel GTM frameworks to accelerate market execution.
  • Ensure digital tools and insights are embedded in sale plays, partner programs and marketing initiatives
  • Co-develop digital solutions with strategic global vendors.
  • Enable regional adaptation of vendor platforms to meet local needs.
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams to agree and execute digital initiatives, fostering cross-functional alignment and adapting strategies to local market needs while maintaining a cohesive global vision.
  • Establish global implementation frameworks and delivery models.
  • Execute global digital initiatives including budget management and on time delivery with regional collaboration.
  • Regions execute initiatives, manage budgets, and adapt to local contexts.
  • Define KPIs and reporting templates.
  • Regions collect data and drive continuous improvement.
