About The Position

Chevy Chase Club is seeking a dynamic, high-energy Swim Lesson Instructor to deliver high-quality swim instruction to members of all ages and abilities while maintaining a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.. Requirements

Strong knowledge of swim techniques and competitive strategy
CPR/AED & First Aid certified
Safety Training for Coaches certified (or equivalent)
Positive, organized, and relationship-driven leader

Nice To Haves

Lifeguard certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide private and group swim instruction for children and adults.
Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with participant ability levels.
Teach fundamental water safety skills, stroke development, and technique refinement.
Evaluate swimmer progress and provide constructive feedback to swimmers and parents.
Maintain a safe instructional environment at all times.
Communicate professionally with members, parents, and Aquatics leadership.
Assist with swim assessments and program placement when needed.
Support swim team feeder programs and developmental initiatives as requested.
Maintain required certifications and compliance documentation.
