About The Position

We are seeking System Administrators at both Level 1 and Level 2 tiers to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical IT systems. In this role, you will manage infrastructure and processes related to client/server, storage, network, and mobile devices. Base compensation ranges from $115k to $170k, with a compelling benefits package for qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • Level 1 System Administrator Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs of similar scope and complexity.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree (10 years total).
  • Level 2 System Administrator Experience: Ten (10) years of experience as a System Administrator in programs of similar scope and complexity.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree (15 years total).
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • In-depth experience in troubleshooting complex IT systems and network components.
  • Ability to remain involved in the resolution process for hardware and dispatch system problems.
  • TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required.
  • We are not able to upgrade clearances or accept CCAs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily configuration and operation of IT systems, including UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Install and load OS software, maintain network integrity, and implement enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Perform system capacity analysis and planning to optimize resource utilization.
  • Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers regarding escalated tickets and status updates.
