We are currently seeking a System Analyst to join our IT Department in Robstown/Calallen, TX. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional who excels at evaluating, supporting, and optimizing enterprise systems in a fast-paced operational environment. This position is a 100% on-site role based in our headquarters office. Candidates must be able to work in person during all scheduled work hours. Requirements

  • Associate degree in CIS or related field, 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Technical Expertise & Skills:
  • Analyzing business requirements, troubleshooting system issues, improving system performance, and ensuring technology solutions align with organizational needs
  • Maintaining system reliability, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting strategic technology initiatives across the organization
  • Advanced computer literacy, specifically related to information and networking skills
  • Ability to learn and train others to use computerized customer information and utility system applications at an advanced level
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Server Software, Linux, and various networking equipment
  • Must understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking, and accessory equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Project, backup programs, firewalls, VPN devices, and configuration management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft reports, professional correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Valid Class C Texas Driver's License
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Additional relevant IT certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Enhances the efficiency of the Cooperative by designing, developing, and implementing new software applications to increase productivity based on use-cases.
  • Develops and implements in-house software applications and enhancements for existing applications to improve efficiency of the Cooperative by evaluating existing software applications and work processes.
  • Keeps the security level of the Cooperative at a high level by designing and performing network and server security audits.
  • Works with department managers to identify and resolve system issues by creating systems or enhancing current systems.
  • Ensures systems continuity by creating and maintaining documentation as it relates to system configurations, processes, and service records, including use-case diagrams.
