Learn more about Ovation: https://www.emerson.com/en-us/automation/ovation In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Support the design, configuration, setup, and implementation of Gas Turbine control systems, including electrical hardware, wiring, computer systems, and networks. Design and produce electrical schematics and wiring specifications, and select and review electrical hardware and device designs. Set up and initialize hardware and computer systems, load and configure software and applications, configure switches and network devices, and perform system checkout activities. Perform system integration and testing, including hardware testing, controls validation, simulation model testing, computer system checkout, and troubleshooting in both test‑floor and customer environments. Effectively collaborate with a team of project engineers and project managers to meet project schedules, resolve technical challenges, and share learnings. Support customer-facing activities, including control system layouts, hardware configuration reviews, acceptance testing, and occasional on‑site support as needed. Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives by supporting senior engineers and gaining exposure to different engineering disciplines. Support the development and improvement of internal tools, processes, and documentation to enhance quality and efficiency. FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. 0–2+ years of related professional experience in an engineering environment. Ability to work in the office located in Latham, NY. Travel to customer sites up to 25% for system testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and customer support activities Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 0–2+ years of related professional experience in an engineering environment.
  • Ability to work in the office located in Latham, NY.
