Work closely with a range of technical and operations disciplines spanning many cross-functional teams to define engineering requirements and manage the resolution of challenges associated with integrating key technologies into the product. Partner with overseas manufacturers to ensure designed parts are mass producible. Resolve issues and ensure the design meets requirements throughout its lifecycle by applying mechanical and material engineering principles to conduct failure analysis and determine root cause. Parse and synthesize large datasets and complicated design details into visual summaries that clearly communicate issues and proposed solutions. Develop innovative analysis tools and methods to assess performance of new, breakthrough technologies invented for iPhone. International travel required 20%. 40 hours/week.
