Donaldson Capital ManagementEvansville, IN

About The Position

We’re looking for a Systems Admin Specialist to join our technology team and support the Salesforce and Orion platforms that power our daily operations. This role works alongside our primary Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve our CRM and portfolio management environments. You’ll start by learning our customized systems and working through existing project backlogs, then grow into owning specific areas and driving process improvements. This is a role for someone who is genuinely interested in how systems can better serve people, not just how they function technically.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience administering Salesforce
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity while learning a new environment
  • Detail-oriented with a genuine interest in how systems serve people
  • Administered Salesforce in a customized environment with hands-on configuration experience
  • Owned a project from start to finish — implemented a new process, built out a workflow, or led a system improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Orion or similar portfolio management/reporting platforms is a strong plus
  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key support resource for Salesforce and Orion administration, including user account management, profiles, reporting, and permissions
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits and assist teams with reporting, updates, and data quality improvements
  • Configure and maintain system components, including custom objects, fields, workflows, reports, and dashboards
  • Triage and troubleshoot user issues, serving as a go-to point of contact for system questions and support requests
  • Work through the existing project backlog, completing change requests and smaller system improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements across both platforms
  • Support system integrations and help expand the firm’s technology capabilities over time
  • Create and maintain system documentation and contribute to end-user training efforts
